Virtual Oasis by MENTAL ACT

Virtual Oasis is a mental health workshop conducted online every month which aims to serve as a platform for people to gain easy access to self-care techniques that they can incorporate in their daily lives. Professionals with the relevant expertise will be engaged to conduct these workshops.

Through the workshops, participants will:

1. Learn to identify areas of self-care
2. Engage in self-care techniques with the guidance of experts
3. Gain insight on how to incorporate the techniques into daily life

For the month of April, we are going to be focusing on Burnout and Mind Fatigue. Stress has been an inevitable component of our lives. At times, the stress in daily life could get overwhelming and this leads to negative consequences like altered sleep behaviour, irritability, escape fantasies, etc, which are signs of burnout.

Calming techniques might be exactly what you're looking for!

In this workshop, you will be introduced to:

1. Self acupressure massage - focusing on the head, face, neck and shoulders
2. Sound relaxation with various instruments
